The Influence Of Urethane Acrylate Molecular Weight And Structure On Accelerated Weathering
This paper reports on the weathering performance of aliphatic urethane acrylates cured by ultra violet light. The influence of urethane molecular weight and composition on gloss retention, yellowing, and mechanical properties as a function of accelerated weathering exposure length were determined. A sterically hindered tertiary amine light stabilizer and an ultra violet light absorber of the hydroxyphenyl benzotriazole class were also evaluated in select UV cured compositions.
